Fish Haven

This is our 3/4 acre property (micro-farm) we affectionately call Fish Haven Homestead. There’s a large beautiful outdoor area with spacious decks overlooking a 7,000-gallon fish pond containing 49 legacy koi. We host small events and gatherings to build conscious community, and enjoy the peace and quiet of natural surroundings.

The backyard is completely fenced in, and totally private. There are raised garden beds, herb garden, apple & pear trees, chickens, worm farm, compost area, and yard art. There’s a separate dwelling with a workshop area (downstairs) where you can play ping-pong or darts, as well as a loft apartment (upstairs) where our friends stay.

You can lounge in the hammock, sit on the couples swing, or browse the various garden areas. Also can take a 5-minute walk to Douglas Lake where you can stroll along the beach area, or go fishing (valid Colorado Fishing License is required). Although still in a small neighborhood, we’re way out in the country on a dirt road about 6 miles north of Fort Collins. The yard is backed by spacious fields where cows graze with their young. A large variety of native birds nest in the many trees around the property. You can often see eagles, hawks, herons, pelicans, geese, ducks, deer, coyote, raccoon, skunk, fox, rabbits and other creatures around the neighborhood and nearby lake.

When visiting us at Fish Haven, it is best to park in one of the driveways rather than on the dirt road (unless for a brief time). We strive to remain peaceful with our neighbors and respect all those around us. Reach out to Christy Grace if you’d like to stop by or attend one of our retreats or summer kids camp.
