About Holistic Retreats

We are a curated group of holistic health and wellness practitioners dedicated to bringing opportunities for connection, empowerment and inspiration to our community. We enjoy co-creating sacred space for conscious events, ceremony and deep healing.

Our intentions are to provide a safe and supportive environment to fully express our authentic selves, and embrace our highest potential. We have a deep respect and strong connection with the Spirit of Pachamama (Mother Earth) and aim to share our inherent skills, talents, resources and experience to further the evolution of our collective consciousness.

Tara Miller is a student and teacher of earth medicine, recapturing the age old wisdom of healing with plants. She has a belief in our innate ability to heal on a physical, psychological, emotional, and spiritual level. Cultivating vitalism from within and removing obstacles to health is the driving force behind this journey. Engaging in all the stages of life from before birth until death. Knowing the body is its own healing vessel she believes we can empower ourselves to be our own healers with the help of our plant allies.

Tara’s journey into holistic healing began with the conception of her first child. As she sought out the most natural ways to nourish and support her growing family, she became committed to health, nutrition, and natural child rearing. Tara went on to teach childbirth classes and became a certified doula helping others realize their dream of natural childbirth. Continuing on her path of self-study in herbal medicine and nutrition, which was to become a lifelong passion that she continues to explore and cultivate.

Tara has a BA in Psychology from the University of Central Oklahoma and completed her studies in the Transpersonal Counseling Psychology MA Program at Naropa University in Boulder, CO with an emphasis in body-centered psychotherapy. Tara went on to become a registered nurse with an Associates RN degree from Front Range Community College in Fort Collins, CO. She worked for many years as a hospice nurse providing death with dignity to those crossing over. She attended the Equinox Center of Herbal Studies and the Colorado School of Clinical Herbalism where she graduated as a certified clinical herbalist. The knowledge she brings as a registered nurse in allopathic medicine adds much to balance her wisdom of herbal medicine. Tara deepened her practice of plant medicine healing by learning and practicing whole foods plant based nutrition. Living in connection and harmony with the natural cycles of the earth, growing herbs, and learning to make medicines from the bounty the earth mother provides.
